| tomorrow is the last day of high school. EVER. how did it come so fast?
looking at these four years from beginning to the end, i realized that high school has come to mean something totally different than i expected. expectations are always defied. nothing turns out like you'd think it would- life changes in any direction at any time. now what you make with this unexpected change defines who you are as a person. if the change is for the worse, take it as an opportunity to mold yourself into a stronger person who is prepared for heartache and betrayal. if it's for the better take every advantage of your current situation AND be aware somewhere in the back of your mind that life isn't always this sweet. be grateful and most of all be kind because as mentioned before, life takes sharp turns and is unpredictable.
growing up is not always easy. it means taking responsibility. and now class of 2009 we are about to turn our backs to bridgewater-raritan high school for bright futures. most of us anyways. leaving the school with a distinguished four years behind us, many memories with friends who will stay with us or drift apart, and hard work that has hopefully paid off, we embark upon one of the most exciting, independent journies we will ever have to face. COLLEGE. as summer 2009 approaches by the second, put your drinks up, burn your silly high school work, and have the time of your lives. but between the parties, trips down the shore, and lazy summer days, always remember who you are. don't let yourself be sucked up into someone else's demands. defining yourself by someone else is always dangerous because that person could always leave. the one person you are always stuck with is yourself- make it someone you would be pleased to be.
the last thing i have to say now is CONGRATUALATIONS CLASS OF 2009. we finally made it.
